Med Surg RN Job in Hendersonville, TN

You will work as a registered nurse in the medical-surgical unit at Hendersonville Medical Center, providing direct patient care on a general medical floor. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of October 19, 2026.

Role Overview

Your responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions throughout your shift, administering medications according to physician orders, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. You will coordinate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. When changes in patient status occur, you will communicate promptly with the care team and document all findings in the patient record.

Patient and family education is a key part of your role. You will explain treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care requirements in clear, compassionate terms to help patients and their families understand what to expect during recovery and at home.
