Med Surg RN Job in Hendersonville, TN

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This is a travel nursing assignment with four open positions.

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,881

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population. Your responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based care. You'll work within established facility standards and protocols to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care.

What You'll Do

• Assess and monitor patient health status and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other clinical staff
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and self-care
• Respond to patient needs and advocate for patient safety and comfort

Requirements

You must hold a valid RN license and meet all facility credentialing requirements. Current knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and the ability to work independently on the night shift are essential.
