Med Surg RN Job in Clarksville, TN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg Float Pool position at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital. This role requires flexibility to meet the staffing needs of the unit across multiple Med/Surg departments.

Schedule and Hours

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No block schedule offered; you must be flexible to meet scheduling needs
• Weekend shifts required
• 91-day assignment

Role Responsibilities

• Float within 5 Med/Surg units to support staffing needs
• May float to the Emergency Room as needed
• Care for adult patients 18 and older in general Med/Surg settings
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–6

Requirements

• Current Tennessee nursing license or compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,308
