Telemetry RN Job in Sioux City, IA

You will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team at UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown, contributing your professional and clinical knowledge to the provision and management of patient care on our Telemetry unit.

Schedule and Staffing:

• 3x12 night shifts per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 16 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 6:1

Unit Details:

• Patient types include Neuro, Ortho, and Med Surg populations
• Floating required to other med-surg units and may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Assignment Terms:

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,296
• You will be required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Requirements:

• RN license: Active Iowa or compact nursing license required with Nursys verification
• Experience: 1.5+ years required; first-time traveler accepted
• Certifications: BLS (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted), NIHSS
• Clinical skills: Experience with Heparin required; skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Tele discipline required
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Driver's license required
• All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
