Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a high-acuity medical-surgical floor at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. This role focuses on surgery and trauma cases, serving a diverse patient population including post-operative surgical patients, trauma cases, and patients with spinal cord injuries.

• Shift & Schedule: 3x12 nights per week
• Patient Assignment: 5:1 patient ratio
• Unit Support: Nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary available during night shift
• Handoff Process: ED nurse and admitting unit complete structured nurse handoff at shift change

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• EPIC experience required

Important Details:

• You must be willing to work your assigned shifts; no block schedules are available
• Request time off (RTO) is not permitted during this assignment

This is an 88-week travel assignment starting September 8, 2026. You'll earn $1,867 per week. You bring experience managing complex surgical and trauma patients in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment.
