Emergency Room RN Job in Bay City, MI

You will serve as a registered nurse in the emergency department at McLaren Bay Region, coordinating comprehensive care for patients across a wide range of acute conditions and presentations.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the emergency department setting
• Participate in patient and family teaching and education
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient care team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Ensure patient rights and privacy are protected at all times
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards as defined by the ANA Code for Nurses and State of Michigan Public Health Code
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agency standards including AOA, HCFA, and MIOSHA

Shift and schedule: You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week. Every third weekend is required, though a weekend-only option is available if interested. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Current Michigan nursing license
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification (ENPC accepted in place of PALS)
• TNCC certification
• ENPC certification
• BLS certification (AHA)

Assignment details: This is a 91-day travel position beginning August 24, 2026. You will earn $2,099.52 per week.
