CT Technologist Job in New York, NY

You will work as a CT Technologist at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital MSP in New York, NY. This is a 56-week travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights (Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to Midnight)
• First 2 weeks: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM for training
• Weekly pay: $2,540.16
• 30-minute lunch break included

Your Role

You will perform dual-modality imaging, handling both CT scans and X-rays. Daily caseload includes up to 20 patients across all age groups—pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will work in outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU settings.

Scope of Work

• X-ray procedures: extremities, spine, pelvis, head, chest, thorax, musculoskeletal, upper and lower extremities
• CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Orthopedic exams performed in exam rooms and via portable equipment
• Portable and OR/C-Arm experience required
• May rotate across multiple departments within the facility or a private sector location across the street

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT certifications (R and CT)
• New York State License (DOHNYS)
• IV Certification
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds with or without assistive devices
• Experience with Siemens equipment required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
