NICU RN Job in Crown Point, IN

Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking an experienced RN for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You will work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Your Role

You will provide direct care to neonates across all gestational ages and acuity levels, maintaining patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and managing patients on Bubble CPAP, ventilators, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Operating feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris IV pumps
• Performing IV insertions and delivery room stabilization as needed
• Documenting care using the Epic EMR system
• Floating to the post-partum unit when required
• Working weekend shifts as assigned

What We're Looking For

You must hold a current RN license and have a minimum of 3 years of Level III NICU experience. Required certifications include BLS and NRP; STABLE certification is preferred. Preferred clinical skills include IV insertion, delivery room stabilization, CPAP management, and ventilator experience.

Work Environment

You will work night shifts with no on-call requirements and are expected to be a team player willing to step in during busy periods and adapt to changes in patient assignments. Hospital-issued scrubs are provided.

Compensation
