Emergency Department RN Job in Thornton, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026, offering competitive compensation of $1,708.20 weekly.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 40-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratio
• Collaborate with RNs, paramedics, and EMTs in a mixed-staffing model

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessment, stabilization, and intervention
• Conduct vital signs and ECG monitoring
• Operate IV pumps, EV 1000, EKG machines, ultrasound equipment, and GE systems
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Trauma Level 1 or Level 2 experience preferred

Unit Staffing

• Day shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 1 EMT, plus mid-shift coverage
• Night shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 1 EMT, 1 Medic, plus mid-shifters
