ED Registered Nurse Job in Wray, CO

Wray Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift position in the Emergency Department. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week at $2,440 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will work across multiple patient care areas within a small facility setting: the Emergency Room, Medical-Surgical inpatient and observation beds, and outpatient infusion services. The ED operates with 3 beds, while the Med-Surg unit includes 6 beds. Your responsibilities will span acute emergency care, post-operative monitoring, chronic disease management, and infusion therapy.

Patient Populations

You will care for patients with commonly presenting diagnoses including:

• Congestive heart failure (CHF)
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Post-operative orthopedic cases
• Pneumonia
• Urinary tract infection and altered mental status (UTI/AMS)
• Failure to thrive

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license and have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. The following certifications are required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (AHA), and completion of the Procedural Sedation Module.

Work Environment

The facility uses the Athena electronic medical record system. You will work day shifts in a rural hospital setting where you will have the opportunity to develop versatility across emergency, acute care, and outpatient settings.
