ED RN Job in Centennial, CO

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room on a float pool basis across Zone 3, centered around the Denver metropolitan area. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, with 3x12-hour night shifts at $2,376 per week.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend or equivalent (6–9 weekends within a 6-week period)
• Every other holiday requirement
• No on-call or standby
• Schedules released 4–6 weeks in advance

Float Pool Details:

You will float within Zone 3 with no home base facility. Schedules follow one of two formats: assigned to a single facility for the week with possible internal floating, or just-in-time assignment 1–2 hours before shift start. You are responsible for securing housing that makes 60-mile zone coverage feasible. Zone 3 includes OrthoColorado Hospital (Lakewood), Longmont United Hospital (Longmont), St. Anthony Hospital (Lakewood), St. Anthony North Hospital (Westminster), and 84th Ave Emergency Room (Westminster). You must be present in state during your orientation week.

Clinical Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4–5 based on acuity
• Independent telemetry reading and interpretation (no monitor technician available)
• Point-of-Care lab testing training and performance
• Common diagnoses: abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, hypertension

• Technician support for unit secretary duties, floor assistance, and triage
• EPIC charting system
• Navy blue scrubs
• 2–3 days of unit/department-specific orientation
