Operating Room RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Join BUMC South Tucson as an Operating Room RN in a Level III Trauma center environment. This 89-day travel assignment offers the opportunity to expand your surgical nursing expertise while working with a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 8:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday with varying workdays
• No weekend shifts included in regular schedule
• On-call shifts: end of regular shift to 6:45 AM on weekdays; 5:15 PM to 6:45 AM on weekends
• Expected 3–4 call shifts per 4-week cycle, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Weekly pay: $2,706
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Qualifications Required

• Current valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years experience as an OR RN
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong experience in general, GYN, orthopedic, podiatry, urology, and robotics procedures

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide direct patient care and supervise other healthcare personnel
• Maintain clinical performance competencies for the specialty area
