Operating Room RN Job in Sun City, AZ

Join Banner Boswell Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This 89-day travel assignment offers a 4x10 day shift schedule at an excellent weekly rate of $2,681. You will primarily work at the Boswell campus (10401 W Thunderbird Blvd) with the flexibility to float to the Del Webb campus as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural factors, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical directives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to plan, revise, and evaluate patient care
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership initiatives

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the OR specialty area
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to OR work
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions compliance due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred. Assignment begins November 16, 2026.
