Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or evening shifts 4x10, every other weekend call
• Shift options include 9:00 AM or 9:00 PM start times, or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Average daily census of 22 cases
• Call requirement of 1 day per week; 1-2 weekends per 4-5 week schedule
• Call schedule example: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM call, with 30-minute response time when on call
• Sunday through Friday nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM covered by staff; additional coverage needed only if someone calls in or is scheduled off
• Major holidays covered by call shifts for emergencies only
• Weekend coverage required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; minimum 1 year in-specialty experience required
• Must have cardiac and general surgery experience - CV experience is required
• Must have both scrub and circulate experience
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue, White, or a combination of both
• Parking is free for travelers
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Must be proficient in the following specialties and procedures:
   - Vascular: AV fistulas/grafts, aortic surgeries/bypasses, femoral to popliteal or distal bypasses, carotids, embolectomies
   - Orthopedics: Arthroscopies and total joints
   - General: Colorectal/colon resections, laparoscopic assisted surgeries, Whipples, liver resections, thyroids, mastectomies
   - ENT: Trachs, laryngectomies, radical neck dissections
   - Urology: Cystectomies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, various implants, cysto-related procedures
   - Robotics: GYN, colorectal, hernias, lap Nissens
   - GYN: Abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, posterior/anterior repairs
• Must be proficient in vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting
• Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
