MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Mixed shift schedule consisting of 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts with varying start times
• Cyclic scheduling handled by supervisors
• Every 4th weekend required for day shift; every other weekend required for overnight shifts
• 2 holidays required per year
• Weekend call required once every 6 weeks
• Weeknight call required 3-4 nights per month when fully staffed, may be more if not fully staffed
• Perform MRI imaging on adults, geriatrics, and some pediatric patients through the ER
• Perform MRI with sedation or general anesthesia
• Perform MRI on patients with conditional pacemakers and MRI breast imaging
• Night shift candidates must have CT and X-ray experience
• Ability to float and cover CT; X-ray coverage required if working nights
• Department operates 3 MRI machines
• Equipment used: Siemens Espree, Siemens Trio, and GE Architect
• Charting system: EPIC; PACS: McKesson
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Driver's license required at time of submittal
• Candidate must reside outside of 50-mile radius
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
