ICU Registered Nurse Job in Tulsa, OK

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the ICU Float Pool at Yale Campus Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a nights schedule. This position offers you the chance to provide critical care nursing across multiple intensive care settings while building expertise in acute patient management.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies
• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status and adjust care plans as needed
• Complete comprehensive assessments and individualize plans of care within established nursing guidelines
• Provide culturally sensitive nursing care that considers psychosocial factors and patient age
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for your patient population
• Delegate and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary staff
• Document the nursing process and care accurately and legibly using correct medical terminology
• Facilitate patient teaching and coordinate discharge planning with appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with clinical disciplines to optimize patient outcomes

What You'll Need

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic experience required
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
• Detail-oriented approach to examining clinical and numerical data

Preferred Experience

• Cardiac Critical Care and Hemodynamic Monitoring experience
• Cardiac ICU background
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy exposure
• Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO) experience
• Swan-Ganz Catheter skills

Assignment Details

You'll work 3x12 night shifts for an 89-day contract beginning September 28, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,529.
