ICU RN Job in Duncan, OK

Join Duncan Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a community hospital setting where your critical care skills directly impact patient outcomes.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 days per week with block scheduling available
• Weekly pay: $1,747
• Duration: 91 days starting September 10, 2026
• Patient ratios: 1:2–1:3
• Weekend and on-call shifts required
• May float to Med Surg within scope as needed
• Guaranteed hours available

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU RN experience
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• LTAC experience preferred

Required Certifications

• ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, ISTAT
• Oklahoma or compact license required

Clinical Skills You'll Use

You'll manage complex patient needs including accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, CVA and acute stroke management, high flow nasal cannula therapy, arterial blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, multisystem organ dysfunction and failure management, PICC line management, post-cardiac surgery care, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and intervention, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ventricular assist device management (LVAD/RVAD).

Equipment and Support

The facility uses Phillips monitors, ultrasound, Glidescope, Rotobeds, arterial and CVP monitors, Alaris pumps, and EtCO2 monitoring. You'll have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.

Patient Population

You'll care for adolescents and adults with diagnoses including COPD, respiratory failure, DKA, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias, urosepsis, sepsis, multisystem organ failure, and patients recovering from vascular and general surgeries. Meditech charting experience is preferred.
