ICU Registered Nurse Job in Duncan, OK

You'll work as an RN in the ICU at Duncan Regional Hospital, caring for adolescents and adults with complex, critical conditions. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 5, 2026, with 3x12 hour day shifts and weekly pay of $1,827.

Your Role

You'll manage patients in a 1:2 to 1:3 ratio, with weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities required. You may float to Med-Surg as needed to support facility operations. Block scheduling is available, and guaranteed hours are provided throughout your assignment.

Patient Population & Diagnoses

You'll care for patients with COPD, respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, urosepsis, multisystem organ failure, cardiac arrhythmias, Afib, HTN, DM, and post-surgical vascular and general surgery patients.

Clinical Skills & Responsibilities

• Manage arterial lines and central line care
• Administer continuous IV sedation and blood products
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage PICC lines
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias
• Manage ventricular assist devices
• Administer IV insulin protocols and perform procedural sedation
• Suction and manage ETco2 monitoring

Equipment & Technology

You'll work with Phillips monitors, Glidescope, Rotobeds, arterial and CVP monitors, Alaris Pumps, and ETco2 monitoring systems. The facility uses Meditech for charting.

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Current Oklahoma or compact nursing license
• Active certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, ISTAT
• LTAC experience preferred
• Meditech charting experience preferred
