Respiratory Therapist Job in Savannah, GA

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, paying $1,814 weekly. Your start date is September 14, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently admit and manage ventilated neonatal patients
• Operate and troubleshoot Servo U and Draeger VN500 ventilators
• Set up and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive approaches
• Provide non-invasive ventilation support including BiPAP and CPAP
• Administer neonatal-specific therapies: Bubble CPAP, inhaled nitric oxide, and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) and high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV)
• Support Vaportherm therapy and other specialized respiratory equipment
• Document patient care in the Epic electronic health record system

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional degree as Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 1+ year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
• PALS certification required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced neonatal environment
