Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day Med Surg assignment in Pittsfield, MA. You will work 3x12 shifts on days, earning $2,384.64 weekly, with a start date of July 20, 2026.

Role Overview

You will care for patients on a Medical Surgical unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:6. Units range from 20 to 34 beds. You must be willing to float to any Med Surg unit as needed. Block scheduling is not available for this position.

Scheduling & Requirements

• Work schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, days
• Every other weekend required; holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Personal scrubs of any color required
• Must have your own vehicle for this assignment

Clinical Requirements

• 2 years current Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Certifications & Credentials

• Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• BLS (AHA) — required at profile upload; facility will not pend
• ACLS (AHA) — required at profile upload; facility will not pend
• NIHSS — required at profile upload; facility will not pend
• Medical Surgical skills checklist current within one year

Additional Qualifications

• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
