Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Join Berkshire Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit. This 91-day travel assignment runs nights (3x12-hour shifts) beginning July 20, 2026, and offers competitive weekly compensation of $2,384.64.

Role Overview

You will work in a unit of 20 to 34 beds with a typical patient ratio of 1:6. The assignment includes non-billable orientation on 8-hour shifts. Every other weekend is required; holidays must be available as needed. You are expected to float to any Medical Surgical unit as census demands. Block scheduling is not available, and there are no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Current Medical Surgical skills checklist (within one year)
• BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and ACLS (AHA) certifications—all must be in hand at profile upload; the facility will not pend certifications
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Assignment Details

• Personal scrubs of any color required
• Own vehicle required for this assignment
• Must be available for two holidays among Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day and surrounding days
• All requested time off must be noted at submission; requests after offer may result in offer rescission
