Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with a day shift schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Call or standby requirement in place with LCD
• Floating requirements apply - first to float
• 48-hour shift blocks available
• Patient ratios: 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• Nurse aide support available at a 1:15 ratio
• Care for surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery
• Care for medical patients including CHF, CVA, shortness of breath, and diabetic issues
• No drip titration required
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow oxygen
• Telemetry monitoring on unit - monitor tech reads strips with RN confirmation
• Charting completed using EPIC system
• Any scrub color accepted for dress code
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract, 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS
