CVOR Technologist Travel Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the CVOR unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a 63-day travel assignment with a start date of October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 Days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,336
• Location: Heart Tower building, CVOR unit with 6 operating rooms

Requirements

• CST certification (mandatory)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments in CVOR
• Extensive experience in the scrub role
• First assist experience and proficiency preferred but not required

Case Experience

You will handle a range of cardiothoracic and vascular procedures including CABG, valve replacement, VAD insertions, TAVR, VATS, lobectomy, pacemaker/AICD insertions, septal myectomy, Ross procedure, EVH, IABP insertions, femoral cannulation, and circulatory arrest cases. All cases operate with 1 scrub and 1 circulator; pump cases require an additional first assist or heart holder (RN or CST).

Scheduling

On-call shifts will be assigned and rotated among staff. You may be required to float infrequently to other units if needed.
