Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required, holidays as needed
• Float required between all campuses as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; no first-time travelers
• Acute care rehab experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:6; one unit operates on a rotating basis with 7 patients of equivalent acuity
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
• Specialized inpatient rehab care for qualified patients including post-stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, brain injury, and spinal cord injury
• Required certifications: BLS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Skills required include interpretation of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, medication reconciliation, interpretation of laboratory results, vital signs, dressing changes, aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup, phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and telephone triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, radiology, and social services
