Job Details:

• Work 3 days per week with an estimated 12 hours per week
• Serve as a Registered Nurse and member of the care delivery team responsible for setting standards for the level and quality of care
• Manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients, and their families to achieve desired patient outcomes
• Actively participate in department or unit-specific quality improvement efforts
• Apply the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment
• Formulate daily goals and a plan of care for patients that involves the patient as partner and considers individual needs in a holistic manner
• Demonstrate critical thinking in the identification of clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues within an episode of care
• Provide detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care and transition to another level of care or home
• RN license required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications and licenses: BLS, PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73, and Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation
