ED RN Job in Windber, PA

Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for its emergency department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 7, 2026.

Position Details

• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Acute care emergency setting
• Weekly pay: $2,125.44
• Charting system: MEDITECH

Schedule & Hours

Night shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekends and holidays are required as needed. The facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract. No guaranteed hours are provided during orientation week, when the unit is closed, holidays, or in weeks with requested time off.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• BSN not required

You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, manage acute conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Experience in emergency nursing is strongly preferred. Your role is to provide skilled nursing assessment, intervention, and patient education in the ED setting.
