Med Surg RN Job in Aurora, CO

HCA HealthONE Aurora is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Orthopedic/Spine unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three days per week, caring for patients undergoing joint replacement, fracture repair, and spinal injury management.

Role Details

• Work on a 345-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit with typical patient ratios of 1:5 (ratios vary by unit and are not guaranteed)
• Provide direct patient care across acute orthopedic and spine cases
• Collaborate with RNs and CNAs as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Float between units as needed; flexibility is essential
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Demonstrate compassion and teamwork when managing patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Chemo certification preferred (opens scheduling opportunities on Oncology unit)
