ED RN Job in Asheville, NC

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a registered nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day contract beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and trauma conditions. Working as part of the emergency medical team, you will assess patient needs, implement clinical interventions, and support physicians and advanced practice providers in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week, nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,179

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to emergency department patients
• Triage and assess patients with acute and trauma-related conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the emergency care team
• Monitor vital signs and patient status
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina
• Current nursing certifications (BLS, ACLS, and PALS required)
• Emergency department experience preferred
