Job Details:

• On-call position with as-needed scheduling
• Every other weekend required
• Specialize in General, Ortho, Vascular, Trauma, and Neuro surgical cases
• Plan, manage, and coordinate professional nursing care delivered to surgical patients
• Provide specialized care and treatment while directing and supervising ancillary nursing personnel
• Scrub or circulate surgical cases in collaboration with all members of the health team
• Maintain AORN standards of professional nursing practice
• Handle emergency and crisis situations as needed
• Work with bodily fluids and substances with contact under a wide variety of patient circumstances
• OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk) designation
• Charting system experience required; Epic experience required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR (preferred)
• Valid California RN License required
