ICU RN Job in Twin Falls, ID

St Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 24, 2026, offering $2,073.60 weekly.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Weekend shifts required as needed, typically every other weekend
• Holiday shifts required as needed
• No on-call or standby requirement; extra shifts available

Role Responsibilities

• Float between ICU and PCU patients within the unit
• ICU nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1–2; PCU ratio of 1:3
• Titrate standard ICU drips including vasoactive and sedative drips
• PCU involves mild titrations within written parameters
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Chart using the EPIC system

Patient Populations and Conditions

• Vented patients, cardiac post-PCI, Impella, IABP
• Stroke, targeted temperature management (TTM), vascular injuries
• Traumas, sepsis, overdose, abdominal trauma, surgical cases
• CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Thermoguard/Zoll cooling experience with TTM
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
