PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - PCU Stepdown

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 7:17 PM
• Contract duration of 13 to 26 weeks
• Dress code: RN staff required to wear ceil blue or white scrubs
• Patient ratios vary by unit: 1:7 or 1:8 on 5B Floor Neuro Tele, 1:4 on 5T Cardiac Stepdown, and 1:6 to 1:7 on 6T Post Op
• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated
• Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Must notify house supervisor for any cancellations
