CT Technologist Job in Harrisburg, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Central – UPMC Central PA Hospitals in Harrisburg, PA. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week (approximately 36 hours weekly) on a day schedule.

In this role, you will independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration. You will operate complex imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, reconstruct, and document image data according to departmental standards. Your responsibilities include adjusting protocols and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic CT purposes based on clinical needs.

Key Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders
• Demonstrate proper power injector technique according to department and manufacturer protocols
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and apply universal protocol
• Review patient history and physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition
• Document patient history in electronic records as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, with accurate charge entry

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate required
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73 certifications
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire

Compensation: $2,890.80 per week. Assignment runs for 90 days, starting August 24, 2026.
