CT Technologist Job in Erie, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at Northwest - UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. This is a 104-week contract beginning August 24, 2026, offering competitive compensation of $2,890.80 weekly.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule
• Primary shift hours are 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM for 12-hour shifts, with rotation as required
• Second shift hours with blocking for employees when possible
• Third shift weekend rotation shared between employees, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekends assigned to provide equal distribution among staff
• Holiday coverage required as needed, split equally among all staff
• No on-call requirements

Role Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and use of power injector according to department and manufacturer protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and review patient history to apply specific departmental protocols
• Document patient history in electronic records and ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked, and charged

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 compliance
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
• GE equipment experience preferred but not required
