CT Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 97-day travel assignment at Southwest - UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic imaging department while gaining valuable experience across multiple facility environments.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x10 Rotating schedule with mixed shift patterns consisting of two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week, or three 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift times: Daylight (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and evening (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM) coverage
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend or every third weekend based on department needs
• Weekly pay: $3,461
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Duration: 97 days

Core Responsibilities:

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper technique in venipuncture and proper use of power injector according to set protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol when performing procedures
• Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal results
• Document patient history in electronic record as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, and charges are entered

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
• ARRT Certificate
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pennsylvania Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 certifications
