Job Details:

• Work a mixed schedule of two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week, or three 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift times include daylight and evening hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend or every third weekend coverage required based on departmental needs
• 4 work days per week
• 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper technique in venipuncture and proper use of power injector according to set protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol when performing procedures
• Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols
• Document patient history in electronic health record as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, and charges are entered
• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program required
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry date or date of hire
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
