Med Surg RN Job in Lakewood, CO

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg position on a 37-bed unit. This is a night shift role working 3x12 hours per week at $2,079 weekly for a 91-day assignment starting November 2, 2026.

Role Overview:

• Care for trauma, oncology, and general med-surg patients
• Work with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–1:6 on nights, supported by nurse aides at a 1:12 ratio
• Administer set-rate drips including analgesics, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives (titration not required)
• Manage moderate oxygen support including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
• Read telemetry strips using the Phillips system with central monitoring off-unit
• Complete charting in EPIC

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Acute care nursing experience
• Competency in telemetry strip interpretation
• Valid driver's license and residence within 60 miles of facility
• BSN not required

Scheduling & Expectations:

• Night shift, 3x12 hours per week
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
• Minimum 6–9 weekend shifts required per 6-week cycle
• Holiday shifts required
• Floating within Zone 3, or to ICU (low acuity), PCU/Step-Down, and Med-Surg Telemetry as determined by unit needs
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Hospital may cancel up to 3–4 shifts per assignment period
