Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with every other weekend schedule
• Acute care setting
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate respiratory therapy plans
• Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities
• Provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and facility policy
• May be required to work flexible hours before and after standard shifts and overtime exceeding 40 hours per week
• Charting system: EPIC
• 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Must reside within 60 miles of facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS
• Must have completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
