Job Details:

• Work 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Call rotation required: 2-5 days every 12 weeks
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Local candidates are eligible for this position
• ARRT CT certification and Florida State License must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Patient ratios: 9 days, 2 nights, 5 weekends
• Operate GE 64 slice and 256 slice CT equipment
• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, colonography, myelography, PET CT, and vascular CTA
• Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Conduct multiplanar reconstruction and region of interest measurements
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform venipuncture and peripheral IV starts
• Work across multiple care settings including Emergency Department, ICU, adult acute care, and pediatric acute care
• Serve patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Interdisciplinary support provided through radiology department
