Med Surg RN Float Pool Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital is seeking an RN for a Med Surg Float Pool position on the night shift. This 91-day travel assignment begins October 1, 2026, and offers $2,512 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will work as a float pool RN covering multiple acute care units, including Med-Surg, Post-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Acute Progressive Care, Emergency Department, and Intensive Care. Your flexibility and acute care nursing skills will be essential as you support various patient populations across the hospital.

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN State License
• Current BLS certification
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
• Candidates with less than one year of experience will be considered

Additional Certifications

• ACLS required for Group 1 units (Med-Surg, Post-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Acute Progressive Care) or must be obtained within 6 months of start date
• PALS and TNCC may be required for Group 2 units (Emergency Department, Intensive Care)

Mandatory Training

Organization-approved workplace violence training is required. If you do not have current certification, you must complete it by the last day of the month following your 90-day grace period.
