Med Surg RN Job in Newport, OR

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon. This is a 91-day travel assignment with rotating shifts and a weekly pay of $2,358. Your assignment begins October 21, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
• Support patients requiring both emergent and elective surgical procedures
• Deliver professional nursing care alongside nurse assistants and clinical team members
• Monitor patient progress, respond to clinical changes, and communicate with the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged
