Job Details:

• Work 4x12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• First time travelers accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years
• Must have Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience, as primary assignment will be in L&D
• NICU or PICU experience required; home unit of NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics will be assigned upon arrival but may change based on facility need
• May float between PICU, NICU, Pediatrics Acute Care, and IU Health North Hospital
• Open to travelers whose experience is from a Level 1 adult facility
• Preferred charting system experience: Cerner
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, and pediatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP, Indiana State License
• PALS preferred
• Indiana state license required; temporary license accepted if permanent license application has been submitted
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Required skills include: aerosol set up (mask and trach), BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nitric Oxide (iNO), Nasal airway suctioning, oral airway placement, pediatric critical care, pulmonary hygiene, tracheostomy care/management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, Servo U, and various inhaled medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, and others
• Must be comfortable and aware of every other weekend requirement prior to submission
