About this role

You will serve as a lead CT Technologist at Baptist Medical Center South - Jacksonville, a community hospital setting where you'll manage imaging operations and mentor junior technologists. This is a 12-week contract position working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational on-call responsibilities.

Your background includes:

  • Minimum 3 years of lead-level CT technologist experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on CT experience
  • Community hospital setting experience
  • Current ARRT CT certification, BLS certification, and Florida State License
  • Epic charting system proficiency
  • Trauma Level II facility experience (preferred)

You will perform:

  • A full range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, colonography, myelography, and PET CT imaging
  • Vascular CTA and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) techniques
  • Advanced 3D rendering including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
  • Musculoskeletal trauma imaging
  • Contrast media preparation and administration
  • Peripheral IV placement
  • Operation of GE 64 slice and 256 slice equipment

Your patient population spans all age groups:

  • Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Adult acute care, ICU, emergency department, and pediatric acute care patients

Required competencies:

  • PACS system navigation and management
  • Radiation safety protocols and compliance
  • Leadership and training responsibilities for technical staff

Weekly pay is $2,641. You will work full-time hours on a flexible schedule that may include on-call coverage. This contract runs 91 days, beginning September 28, 2026.
