Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Knox City, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 91-day temporary assignment at AVIR Health Group, LLC - Avir at Knox City in Knox City, Texas. This is a day shift position working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.

Role Overview

You will work under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver patient care in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering therapeutic exercises and interventions to patients
• Providing massage, gait training, and balance training under therapist supervision
• Recording patient progress and documenting treatment outcomes
• Reporting treatment results and patient responses to the supervising physical therapist
• Contributing to individualized treatment plans within the scope of your license

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant degree
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
• Valid Texas or compact state license

• Weekly pay: $1,728
• Day shift schedule with no on-call responsibilities
