CVOR Technologist Job in Augusta, GA

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 98-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026. You'll work 3x12-hour day shifts at $2,016 weekly, supporting advanced vascular and cardiac surgical cases in a hybrid OR setting.

Role Overview

You'll function as a scrub technologist in our Vascular OR, assisting with endovascular procedures, EVAR cases, and complex hybrid interventions. You may float to the main OR in rare instances. Every other weekend is required, and you'll be on call with a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation (4–5 calls per week, including every other weekend).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience; travel experience required
• Current BLS and NBSTSA certifications
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, carotid endarterectomy, EVAR, TEVAR, TAVR, CVOR, CABG, femoral popliteal bypass, aortobifemoral bypass, atherectomy, carotid artery stenting, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, VAD assistance, and specimen handling
• Knowledge of radiation safety, fire safety, sharps safety, and Universal Protocol
• Preferred experience with CSI and Penumbra equipment and Trauma Level I certification

Facility Details

Piedmont Augusta Hospital uses Epic (preferred) and Pyxis systems. OR scrubs are provided. The patient population ranges from adults to geriatrics.

Time Off Policy

You may request up to 7 days off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission. Blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4–12) and your orientation week. If major holidays fall within your assignment, holiday work expectations apply.
