About this role
You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on a 182-day travel assignment at MMC-P Bramhall Campus, a tertiary teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designation. This is a backfill position on day shift, 3x12 schedule, with weekly pay of $2,425 and 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Schedule and Call:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Call requirement: approximately one shift per month, with 2-hour notice for oncoming shifts
- Work schedule determined by department operational needs
Scope of Practice:
You will float across the entire facility as part of a team of 14–16 RRTs, covering NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute care, and critical care units. Patient ratios are 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care. You will manage a range of ventilators including Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm equipment. The facility uses EPIC for electronic medical records.
Requirements:
- RRT certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- NRP certification for NICU work
- 3+ years of respiratory therapy experience
- Tertiary teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma experience required
- NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
