About this role
You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on a travel assignment at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a backfill position lasting 119 days, starting September 21, 2026.
Schedule and Pay
- 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- $3,206.16 weekly pay
- Call requirements with 2-hour callback for oncoming shift
Role Details
You will float across the entire facility as part of a team of 14–16 registered respiratory therapists. Float assignments include NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care units. Patient ratios are 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care.
Your day-to-day work involves managing ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm devices. You will use the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Requirements
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) for NICU work
- Minimum 3+ years clinical experience
- Tertiary and teaching hospital experience required
- Level 1 trauma background required
- NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
