ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work in a Level I Emergency Department setting
• Assigned to care for admitted patients waiting in the ED for bed availability, in designated areas or hallway as needed
• May be utilized in an acute care area when no patients are being boarded (rare occurrence)
• Acute Care and Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Patient ratios for ER holding are 6:1
• Every other weekend and some holidays required
• Block schedule accommodations available
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers may be considered based on previous experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have prior experience with Cerner charting system
• Must have Tennessee nursing license or compact license in hand at time of submittal
• 2 references required (can be pending at time of submittal)
