Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Day and night shifts available
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Day shift patient ratio: 1:4-5, Night shift patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Night shift RN ratios are 5:1 or 6:1
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required with 1 year of travel experience
• Required certification: BLS
• Must have experience with tracheostomies and reading/interpreting telemetry strips
• Must be proficient with equipment including CPAP, nasal cannula, non-rebreather, epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, and trach care/maintenance
• Work with EMR system Epic
• Care for patients with respiratory conditions, medical telemetry needs, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, failure to thrive, respiratory failure, and acute on chronic medical conditions
• Position is a straight med/tele position and does not float to IMC
• Professional scrubs required; unprofessional clothing and non-hospital logo shirts are not acceptable
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, communication, and patient-centered care approach expected
