Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Float pool position requiring willingness to float to multiple different units every shift
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours vary and will be scheduled based on unit need
• No on-call requirements
• Float to all Medical, Surgical, and Cardiology units within the facility
• Patient ratios typically 1:4 on days (possibility of 1:5 when stretched) and 1:5 on nights (possibility of 1:6 when stretched)
• Unit bed count varies based on unit floated to, ranging from 15 beds to 40+ beds
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred; Level 1 Trauma experience in a 500+ bed facility required
• Minimum 1 year travel experience required; prior float pool experience preferred
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Flexibility is a must given the float pool nature of this position
• Equipment used includes Abbott Plum Pumps
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS (Required), ACLS (Preferred), Valid RN License (State of Maine)
• Scrub color: Any color so long as it is clean and professional in appearance
• Unacceptable attire includes jeans, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, and shoes with holes such as Crocs
