Med Surg RN Job in Neenah, WI

ThedaCare - Neenah is hiring a Registered Nurse for their Medical-Surgical unit. This is an 11-week travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback responsibilities
• $2,493 per week

Role Details

You will care for trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic patients with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 on nights. You may float throughout the facility within your skillset and to all network facilities within a 60-mile radius.

Required Competencies

• Chest tubes
• PCA/epidural/Q-ball management
• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Care of post-operative neuro trauma surgeries
• Care of post-operative orthopedic trauma surgeries including fusions and back/spine procedures

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN License
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years
• AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Neuro and orthopedic trauma experience required
